Ingrooves Music Group has signed an exclusive global distribution partnership with Australian independent record label Teamwrk for all of the latter’s artists including returning act, rapper Masked Wolf.
The Australian rapper and singer is returning to Teamwrk, his original independent team, to release his new track, Never The Same, on Friday (February 10). The release marks the first global single under Ingrooves and Teamwrk’s partnereship.
The partnership builds on the two companies’ existing alliance signed in mid-2022, which saw Ingrooves signing Teamwrk Records to a global distribution deal.
Since then, the companies have collaborated on releases across Teamwrk’s catalog of artists globally and released two new Masked Wolf singles outside of Australia and New Zealand in December 2022 and January 2023.
It came after Teamwrk and ADA/Warner Music Australia’s partnership, announced in February 2021, to distribute Masked Wolf’s catalog in Australia and New Zealand.
Masked Wolf, born Harry Michael, is a Sydney-based artist that is known for his global hit, Astronaut in the Ocean,’which has so far amassed more than 1 billion streams on Spotify and reached No.6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2021.
“Our partnership with Ingrooves has already helped us see growth and new opportunities around the world as we look to expand and engage audiences for Masked Wolf and the rest of the Teamwrk roster.”
