Gregg Nadel is President of Elektra at Warner Music Group.
Elektra operates under the 300 Elektra Entertainment banner at WMG.
Nadel is based in New York.
Before his appointment as President of Elektra in January 2017, then a division of Atlantic Records, Nadel served as General Manager of the label for the prior two years.
He became the first President of Elektra since Jeff Castelaz, who left Warner in October 2015.
Prior to that, he was Atlantic’s Senior Vice President, A&R and Marketing.
Gregg Nadel: Early career and success at atlantic
Nadel joined Atlantic Records straight after college in 1997.
He went on to sign artists like Zac Brown Band, Sturgill Simpson, and Icelandic band Kaleo, among others.
At the same time, he led marketing campaigns for artists such as Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and Vance Joy.

In 2015, Nadel forged a partnership between Elektra and Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb’s Low Country Sound label, whose releases so far include the celebrated Southern Family compilation.
In June 2018 WMG announced that Elektra Music Group (EMG) would launch on October 1, headquartered in New York with a dedicated staff of 60 people.
The label is led by Co-Presidents, Mike Easterlin and Gregg Nadel, who stepped up from their previous roles at Fueled By Ramen (FBR)/Roadrunner and Elektra, respectively.Music Business Worldwide
