Downtown Music Publishing has entered into a worldwide publishing administration agreement with the Grammy-nominated singer, composer, and pianist Tori Amos.
The company will now administer Amos’ complete songbook, as well as new works.
Spanning seventeen studio albums, the catalog includes her debut Little Earthquakes (1992); Under The Pink, featuring the worldwide hit Cornflake Girl (1994); and Boys For Pele (1996), which debuted the UK chart-topping single Professional Widow.
Among her other charting singles are Crucify, Silent All These Years, God, Caught a Lite Sneeze, Spark, 1000 Oceans, Flavor, and the 2002 US Radio hit A Sorta Fairytale.
Over the years, Amos has released recordings on all the major labels as well as classical label Deutsche Grammophon, for whom her label debut Night of Hunters won an Echo Klassik Award in 2012 – and with which she also made history by becoming the first woman to have a Top 10 album on the US Billboard charts in the classical, alternative, and rock categories simultaneously.
It was followed by the orchestral album Gold Dust in 2012, and then Unrepentant Geraldines in 2014 – Amos’ eighth Billboard Top 10 album.
In 2015, Amos produced the original cast recording of The Light Princess, the musical adaption of the Scottish fairytale by George MacDonald, for which she wrote the music and lyrics.
Two years later, in 2017, she released Native Invader – another Billboard top 10 album.
In addition to her Echo Award, she has received eight Grammy Award nominations, as well as five MTV VMA nominations, and was listed on VH1’s 100 Greatest Women of Rock & Roll in 1999.
Amos has frequently used her music to bring attention to numerous social campaigns regarding sexuality, feminism, politics, and religion.
She played an integral role in the foundation of the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) – a crisis hotline for sexual abuse victims and served as its spokesperson for many years.

Amos added: “I am so thrilled to have Justin Kalifowitz, Bea Koramblyum, Bruce Lampcov and the rest of the Downtown team working with us to look after my song girls.
“Downtown’s mindset on the future of songs and songwriting is truly unique and I can rest easier knowing the catalogue (and new songs to come) are in the right hands!”
In November 2018 Downtown appointed Delmar Powell as Vice President of A&R and acquired the Salli Isaak companies started by Nick Raphael and Jo Charrington in 2006.
