Ali Tamposi is a Grammy-nominated songwriter, who has written for top artists such as Selena Gomez, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, among many others.
Her journey to music industry success accelerated when a song originally written by her, Save The Hero, found its way into Beyonce’s hands, and ended up on the superstar’s I Am… Sacha Fierce album.
Some of Tamposi’s biggest hits include Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) by Kelly Clarkson, Havana by Camila Cabello, Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer, and Midnight Sky by Miley Cyrus.
Tamposi has also written on songs for DJ Snake / Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Ciara, Demi Lovato, Gary Clark Jr., Nickelback, and One Direction.

Ali Tamposi on songwriting
Having grown up in South Florida, Tamposi graduated from the Miami campus of SAE (School of Audio Engineering) and acquired certification in Production and Audio Engineering.
Tamposi left Florida aged just 20, to pursue a career in Los Angeles as a songwriter.
She told Music Business Worldwide in 2018 that her advice for other songwriters would be: “There’s power in collaboration. Once you think you’ve found creative chemistry, stick with it, great things will come. And honesty always wins; write as you and be true to you.”
Ali Tamposi: Early years in music
Ali Tamposi’s talent was discovered when se was 14 years old by Marty Cintron, vocalist for the group No Mercy.
Cintron introduced Tamposi to Grammy-winning producer Frank Farian, who signed her as an artist to his AME record label.
It was recording to for Farian’s label that Tamposi met producer, Jim Jonsin, who signed her to his Rebel Rock company as a singer-songwriter.
It was Tamposi’s collaboration with Jonsin and Rico Love that led to the creation of the track Save The Hero, as included on Beyoncé’s I Am… Sasha Fierce album in 2009.
Ali Tamposi: Publishing deal with Reservoir
In November 2017, New York-based music publisher Reservoir announced that it had extended its publishing agreement with Ali Tamposi.
Reservoir had represented Tamposi and her publishing rights since January of that year.
