Two ex-EMI execs have taken big jobs in Central America at Universal: Alfredo Delgadillo has been appointed General Manager, Universal Music Mexico, while Fernando Grediaga has been hired as Director of Marketing, Universal Music Mexico.
Delgadillo will oversee operations for Universal Music Mexico, reporting to Víctor González. Based in Mexico City, he brings over 14 years of music business experience, most recently serving as Commercial & Music Services Director for EMI Music Mexico.
Also based in Mexico City, Fernando Grediaga will report to Alfredo Delgadillo. Mr. Grediaga will lead the Universal Music Mexico Marketing team, creating and implementing strategies for the diverse roster of Universal Music artists. With 12 years of experience in the music industry, he most recently served as Director of Marketing Latino & Anglo at EMI Music Mexico.
