Raphaël Awóṣéyìn has been named Chief Marketing Officer at hi-res music service Qobuz.
Marc Zisman has also been appointed Chief Music Officer at the company.
Awóṣéyìn has spent two years at Qobuz as Head of Quality Assurance, and later became Chief Customer Officer.
Combining the roles of Chief Customer Officer and Chief Brand Officer, Awóṣéyìn will be responsible for managing customer experience, alongside increasing the presence of the brand internationally.
As a member of the Board of Directors, Awóṣéyìn also oversees the Marketing Department.
Before Qobuz, Awóṣéyìn spent seven years working for companies such as Axa, Publicis Sapient and Younited Credit.
Marc Zisman, meanwhile, has spent 15 years as Editor-in-Chief at Qobuz.
In his new role, Zisman’s responsibility covers all Qobuz markets including France and other markets worldwide.
Zisman will be responsible for editorial strategy, involving the production of editorial content, creation of original playlists and curation of new releases.
Qobuz says he also leads the licensing team in charge of content management, particularly in high resolution and digital booklets.

In May, Qobuz expanded its service into six additional countries: Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Portugal.
In 2021, Qobuz launched in Australia, New Zealand and the Nordic countries.
