Ingrooves Music Group has hired Anne Sofie Jeremiassen as its Country Manager, Ingrooves Denmark.
Jeremiassen will be based in Copenhagen.
The appointment in Denmark marks Ingrooves’ latest move in its ongoing global expansion.
Over the past 12 months, Ingrooves has expanded into Mexico, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, South Africa, through an acquisition deal with South Africa-based distributor Electromode, and the company also increased its presence in Australia and New Zealand.
Jeremiassen joins Ingrooves after spending the past two years teaching and consulting in the music business.
Previously, she served as Chief Executive Officer at ArtPeople Music, an independent record label in Denmark.
While there, she guided the company’s 2018 acquisition by Universal Music, becoming head of Virgin Music Denmark until 2019.
She previously served in a variety of positions in the music industry, as well as in book publishing.
