Independent Netherlands-born dance label Armada Music (Afrojack, Armin van Buuren) has hired Stephanie Karten as US-based A&R Director.
Karten’s previous role was Director of A&R and Digital at Robbins Entertainment where she spent more than a decade.
Karten has worked with artists ranging from Afrojack to Cascada, September, Yolanda Be Cool, Darude, tyDi and Glenn Morrison over the past 15 years.
She also co-produced and mixed over twenty successful compilations and has signed several tracks that topped Billboard‘s Dance Airplay charts.
In addition to Stephanie Karten, Armada Music’s New York team was also recently joined by PR & Marketing Manager Wes Christenson and Product Manager Tia Hay.
The three new team members will work alongside the existing US team, created around Maykel Piron (CEO) and radio promoter George Hess.
