Taylor Vaughn has been promoted to Vice President, Media, at New York-based Republic Records, which is owned by Universal Music Group.
The news was announced today by Executive Vice President of Media and Artist Relations Joseph Carozza.
Vaughn is based in Republic Records‘ Los Angeles office.
According to the announcement about Vaughn’s promotion, the exec “enacts 360-degree media and publicity campaigns” for artists including Glass Animals, BoyWithUke, Conan Gray, James Bay, Lord Huron, BENEE, Stephen Sanchez, and Greta Van Fleet.
Vaughn has also worked with acts including Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder, John Mellencamp, and Jack Johnson.
Prior to joining the Republic Records team in 2014, Vaughn spent three years at Epic Records.
She serves on the Republic Records Action Committee (R2AC) and is a mentor for She Is The Music.
Vaughn’s promotion follows the May promotion of Chris Blackwell to EVP of A&R and Content Strategy at Republic Records, while Glenn Mendlinger was recently named EVP of Republic Records and President of Imperial Music, which was launched by Republic in September 2021.
Republic Records also launched in China in 2021, and was the first international label division of the record company to launch worldwide.
