Rap and production duo Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn have signed a deal with Absolute Label Services for their next album, titled Breathing Exercises.
The agreement will see Absolute provide full label services support including sales, marketing, distribution and more.
Over a nine-year partnership, the Brighton-born duo have developed a sound drawing from hip-hop, rap, garage, grime and dance music.
The LP is now available for pre-order and set for release on February 28.
Their latest singles, Humble Pie and Adult Workers, have seen the pair pick-up tastemaker support from the likes of Annie Mac (New Names, Radio 1), DJ Target/Kenny Allstar (First Play, 1Xtra), Huw Stephens (Radio 1) and Matt Wilkinson (Beats 1).
They played their biggest headline shows to date in December last year, including Heaven in London, where they sold more than 1,000 tickets.
The pair have earned more than 300,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, as well as more than 20,000 subscribers and 20 million catalogue streams on the service.
They have garnered more than 1.5 million catalog streams on Apple Music and more than 56,000 Shazams to date.
“They’ve built a highly engaged fanbase, have key tastemakers backing them, and are selling serious tickets. These guys are the real deal.”
